Eric Good started Good’s Services with a skid loader and a dream in 1998. Since then, our team and capabilities have grown–a lot–and we felt it was time for our branding to reflect that growth. We’re proud to announce that Good’s Services is now GoodEx!
New Name, New Look, Same Company
Our New Look Reflects Years Of Growth.
Since 1998, Eric has developed a team of passionate people and expanded the business to provide a full-range of commercial and residential excavation services, including excavating, utilities, concrete and paving. Our footprint has also grown. In 2018, we moved from a 1-acre lot to a 10-acre complex in Dayton, VA.
We’ve had the right tools and team for a while, but our branding didn’t reflect our growth. So we’ve revamped our brand. We have a new name and logo, and we’ve redesigned and restructured our website to better serve our customers’ needs. You can also expect an updated look on our trucks, uniforms, and documents.
Introducing Our New Name: GoodEx.
When we sat down to brainstorm a new name, we knew we wanted to keep Good in there (Eric’s excellent last name) but we wanted it to be shorter and stronger. Hence, GoodEx was born.
GoodEx = Good + Excavating. Shortened to one, easy-to-say and easy-to-remember word. Our new name feels solid and trustworthy, and our new color palette is earthy and reliable, just like us.
So when you see our team and trucks sporting our new look, you now know that it was selected intentionally to support the values that we hold close.
Our Look Has Changed, But Our People & Service Haven’t.
Rest assured: although our image and name have changed, we have not. We’re the same local excavating company that developers, investors, contractors, farmers and homeowners have come to trust in Harrisonburg. You can expect the same attention to detail, organized processes and quality communication from start to finish–just with a fresh coat of orange and black paint.
